Babysitter Dispatch Service Discount Coupons

Coupons are available for eligible Tokyo Tech members to receive a discount on daily babysitting fees under the Babysitter Dispatch Service Discount Program managed by the All Japan Childcare Services Association as entrusted by the Cabinet Office.

1. Eligibility

Coupon recipients must be employed directly by Tokyo Tech (not available to JSPS-PDs or students).

2. Age Limit for Children

Children must be in the third grade* of elementary school or younger.
* Fourth- to sixth-grade elementary school students may be accepted if conditions to determine whether or not childcare is needed for the child’s healthy growth and development are met.

3. Conditions

Coupons can only be used for the following purposes when users cannot work for Tokyo Tech without a babysitting service because their spouse is unable to take care of the child due to work or illness, or in the case of single-parent families:

• Caring for the child at home
• Escorting the child between the user’s home and a childcare facility

4. Coupon Details

This program offers a discount of JPY 2,200 (JPY 9,000 for twins) per coupon.

• Coupon usage limit: 2 coupons for each child per day, 24 coupons for each family per month, 280 coupons for each family per year
• Coupons cannot be combined with the Tokyo Tech Babysitting Support Service when it is provided at the user-supported rate (can be combined when the general user rate applies).
• Coupons are only valid for babysitting service charges. Other charges such as membership, transportation, cancellation, etc. are not subject to discount.

5. List of Available Babysitting Service Providers

Note:  Using service of Poppins Co., Ltd. , which is contracted with Tokyo Tech,Coupons cannot be combined with the Tokyo Tech Babysitting Support Service when it is provided at the user-supported rate (which is already discounted for using Poppins Co., Ltd. under contract with Tokyo Tech).
   The general user rate will apply when coupons are used.

6. How to Apply

• Please send a completed application form (internal use only) to the Gender Equality Section by email or campus mail (mailbox no. S6-2).
• You must submit a copy of your contract with the babysitting service provider (excluding Poppins Co., Ltd.) if you are using them with coupons for the first time this fiscal year.
