Babysitting Rooms

Tokyo Tech has babysitting rooms available to make it easier for working parents to do research and education activities on campus.

1.Summary

The babysitting rooms, which were initially offered to those using the babysitting support service, are available on campus to Tokyo Tech members and visitors who have research and education activities (academic conferences or meetings) on campus.

  • Locations: Ookayama campus and Suzukakedai campus
  • Capacity: 2 children and 2 caregivers per room
  • Extra rooms (lecture rooms, etc.) must be reserved in addition to the babysitting room for groups visiting from outside Tokyo Tech to attend academic conferences or meetings. There will be charges for the use of extra rooms.

2.How to make a request

Please read the “User Guide” and make a request as instructed. Requests for visitors must be prepared and submitted by host faculty or staff members of Tokyo Tech. Please note that these spaces are limited and may not be available at all times For further details, please contact the Gender Equality Section.
