On-Campus Daycare Center (Tech Tech Nursery) 
Science Tokyo opened an on-campus daycare center, which plays an important role as an international research institution in welcoming diverse people from all over the world.

Babysitting Support Service
This partially-financed babysitting service is offered to help build a better work-life balance. It is available on-campus (at Tokyo Tech-designated locations or pre-arranged locations) as well as off-campus (at private residences).

Babysitter Dispatch Service Discount Coupons
Coupons are available for eligible Tokyo Tech members to receive a discount on daily babysitting fees under the Babysitter Dispatch Service Discount Program managed by the All Japan Childcare Services Association as entrusted by the Cabinet Office.
Eligibility: employee directly by Science Tokyo
Temporary Assistant Program
Financial support is available for eligible faculty and researchers to hire staff to assist with teaching, research, or administrative work so that they may have more time to take care of a family member.
Eligibility: faculty, research staff
Support for travel expenses for accompanying children of researchers on business trips to conferences, etc.
In order to contribute to the development of an environment in which researchers can continue their research while raising children, if a researcher is unable to participate in an academic conference or research group unless child accompanies on a business trip, which may hinder the execution of the research, the program will provide partial or total support for the transportation expenses required for the child to accompany on the trip.

Financial support for hiring a substitute lecturer
Financial support is provided to departments in need of hiring a substitute lecturer for a faculty member who is planning to take maternity, childcare or family care leave.

Babysitting Rooms
The babysitting room is available on campus to those who have research and education activities (academic conferences or meetings) at Science Tokyo.

Family-Friendly Workplace
To contribute to a family-friendly workplace that supports employees with childcare and family care needs, Tokyo Tech has created an original logo to serve as a symbol of Tokyo Tech Childcare Support and its efforts in encouraging everyone to finish meetings by 17:15.
